Pam Lagomarsino

As a child, I was an avid reader and would read stacks of library books or encyclopedias during the summer. I shouldn’t have been surprised that God used my childhood love of reading, homeschooling my children, and my experience as a library branch manager to prepare me later to become an editor, particularly in fact-checking and research.

My love of books grew into editing when an editor friend invited me to beta-read his book and then encouraged me to pursue editing in 2015. Since then, I have partnered with numerous adult and children’s authors by editing, proofreading, or beta-reading Christian nonfiction books, devotionals, sermons, Bible studies, homeschool curriculum, children’s books, ministry materials, and Christian fiction. I was blessed to join the CED team in 2025 as an editor and proofreader, and I anticipate God will continue to use me to minister to authors.

“Equipping authors to touch the lives of their readers” is my goal when I come alongside an author. This has become a mission for me and gives me great joy, as God positions me to work behind the scenes to help draw readers closer to Him. I am also grateful for the many new friends I have made along the way.

Although I have had many adventures, my most elaborate one was moving across the country in 2021, from the middle of a forest on the West Coast to the southeastern region with my family. Since that time, I have embraced my new small, friendly community and have enjoyed getting to know several wonderful people. When I am not editing, I enjoy attending Bible studies, crocheting, reading, and spending time with my family.

I don’t really have a favorite Bible verse, but God consistently meets me when I seek him and study the Bible.
