I met Rachel in 2024 and was thrilled at her invitation to work at CED. Working with the CED team feels like the perfect blend of purpose and passion.
I come from a small town in northern California and grew up in a family of pastors and missionaries. Our home was filled with inspiration and books, and my siblings and I developed a deep love of sharing God’s message through the written word. Seeing life through the lens of literature and language made its possibilities seem endless.
For over thirty years, I’ve been writing professionally for church, corporate, and government communications. My journey has led me to work with many inspiring figures—Olympic athletes, a city mayor, members of Congress, and nonprofits. Each experience has shown me how transformative communication can be and how fast the world is evolving.
Outside of work, my family and friends are my constant source of joy,
humor, and creative energy. I love volunteering at church, traveling,
swimming, doing yoga, and attending the occasional concert. My passion for music stems from a lifetime of piano as a student and a teacher. Also, I’m back at university finishing a BA degree in Communications.
My favorite Bible verse is the promise of Isaiah 43:1: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine” (NIV). To me, these words reveal a deeply intimate and loving God who has made us for a specific purpose.
