Hope Lee

For a bit of background, I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Arts in New Media Communications in 2021. During that time, my husband and I were living in South Korea, and I was an English teacher practicing my skills in social media on my own. In 2022, my grandfather reached out to me and asked if I would run his social media pages for a book that he had written. With much joy, I started creating content and learning more about the world of social media and how it can be used to amplify and spread goodness! It has been such a special experience of growing and learning, and I am forever grateful to have worked for my grandpa!

I joined CED as part of the marketing team in March 2023. I get the privilege to create content and grow social media accounts, ultimately bringing your story out into the world to be told and heard! The folks at CED are incredibly kind and Christ-centered people, and I am so blessed to be able to know them and work alongside them.

I was born and raised in Oregon, but I currently live in South Korea with my husband and two dogs! I met my husband in 2016; we dated for 3 years and married in 2020. We felt the Lord calling us here to Korea to minister to his family and for me to experience his culture! I am an avid surfer and long-distance runner, but I really love anything that involves fresh air and time with people. I am a true Oregon girl at heart, but I love living so close to the beach here in beautiful Busan, South Korea!

This verse has given me so much strength throughout the experience of living in a culture so different from my own. I hope it will be of encouragement to you too! “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV).
