Rachael Lantz

I joined the CED team in August 2024 after a divine encounter with a staff member from my son’s school, who also happens to be a CED client. She introduced me to Rachel, who had been searching for a
marketing specialist to join the team. At the time, I had just started my own marketing business to create more flexibility in my schedule, especially as my oldest entered kindergarten. I am grateful to work with CED, helping authors share their stories with the world.

My marketing career began in 2008 after I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism. Though I dreamed of writing for a Christian magazine, the economy was tough, and I decided to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, where I eventually landed my first job. From there, I moved on to various marketing roles in nonprofit and for-profit sectors.

At the height of my career climb, I met a pilot from Pennsylvania who was training military students to fly in my hometown in Florida. I served on the worship team at church, and he watched me from afar for a year before finally getting the courage to ask me out. While we were dating, I came to Pennsylvania to meet his family and fell in love with the state. So we moved from sunny Florida to the northeast, and we haven’t looked back.

Now that I’m a mother, my days are filled with school activities and conversations about my son’s current fascination with tornadoes. I love to thrift and get a kick out of finding vintage or unique items to sell. Do I sell them? Not usually. But the hunt is worth it.

One of my favorite Scriptures is Galatians 1:10: “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ” (NIV). This verse has guided me through many seasons, reminding me to live for God and share the good news with boldness.
