At Christian Editing and Design, our illustrators are the heart of our children's book projects, each bringing their unique flair and passion to the canvas.

Among our talented team is Kimberly Merritt, a dedicated CED Children’s Book Illustrator. Kimberly's love for drawing traces back to her high school days, majoring in art and further honing her skills in college. With a particular fondness for depicting children at play, she remarks, “I love working on Christian children’s books because of the many fun scenes of children and animals having adventures. I have illustrated for self-publishing authors and revel in the process of breathing life into their stories with vibrant colors, expressive faces, and dynamic action.”

As she paints, Kimberly often finds herself in prayer, interceding for her authors and the future readers of their books. Our collaboration with Kimberly began when a delighted client introduced us to her exceptional illustrations. Read more.
